"Your other family doctor"

Dr. John Dally:
Dr. Dally graduated from UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992 and has practiced in the River Valley area ever since. He has truly enjoyed getting to know all the pets and their "human companions" over the years. He has found  watching and helping the puppies and kittens grow up happy and healthy with their families to be a great pleasure and satisfaction. His goal as a Companion Animal Veterinarian is to get to know each pet and owner well enough to give effective as well as practical recommendations. He strongly feels that to be successful as "Your other Family Doctor" it is critical to recognize:No Description resized to 300 pixels wide

1. Every pet has a different personality, disease exposure risk, and breed predispositions.
 2. Every pet owner is different in their knowledge of pet care and pet training, time and financial constraints, and level of human-animal bond.

"Veterinary preventive care and disease treatment should never be a 'one size fits all' approach and should always be tailored to the individual pet, owner, and situation."

Dr. Dally was fortunate to have met and married Ann Vetter while in school. Dr. Vetter is also a veterinarian and owns the East Towne Pet Clinic in Madison, WI. They are the proud owners of: an "intense" Border Collie named Tristan, 2 cats (Hecade & Gandalf) and 6 pet chickens (Coco, Blue, Peep, Cheep, Mrs. Tweety and Easy.) In 2000, at the turn of the century, they decided it was time to expand their family and they had a beautiful young boy named Aiden, who was followed over the next three years by two more brothers, Declan and Cian.

Dr. Mark Baenen: Dr. Baenen graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. He began his career as a large animal veterinarian at River Valley Veterinary Clinic.  In 2003 he decided to pursue his small animal interests and, along with Dr. John Dally, started Spring Green Animal Hospital.

He met his wife Nancy while in college.  In 1999 they started their family and have two daughters, Harper and Isabella, and a son Cameron.  He also shares his home with his tenacious Jack Russel Terrier named Jackson, 2 cats (Taipan and Cooper) and a handful of pet chickens.

In his spare time Dr. Baenen enjoys being a Spring Green EMT, learning karate with his son and tinkering in his garage.

Dr. Jean Elmer:
Dr. Elmer graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2003.  She started working with Spring Green Animal Hospital in September of 2003.  Dr. Elmer feels lucky to have been able to return to school as an adult and achieve her life long dream of becoming a veterinarian.
Her philosophy is to treat all of her equine patients with compassion and to take her time dealing with their fears.  She is very willing to educate her clients to help them understand their horses therapy, cause of illness and possible
outcomes.
Dr. Elmer has two children, Doug and Lacey.  She lives in the country with her horses, dogs, cats and other pets.
