I wish I had found her earlier in my horses' lives. Thank you Dr. Elmer. Posted : 10/9/2008 Comments : Dr. Jean has been there through everything with me and my two horses, in fact she is the reason that I have two. She took care of the ultrasounds, artificial insemination, and all follow-up visits. We even had a colic early into the pregnancy and with her amazing care my mare gave birth to a beautiful filly (in which I called her at nearly midnight asking for her to come do a foal check which she never even hesitated). I would never trust the care of my two wonderful horses to anyone but Dr. Jean. She is the most caring vet I have met, and will always go above and beyond to give my animals the best chance - no matter what the issue they are facing, and won't let me give either. Kudos Dr. J. Posted : 6/18/2007 Comments : Dr. Elmer is such a wonderful equine vet and lady. She will come out anytime that I feel I need her and she is always happy to do so. Posted : 5/15/2007 Comments : Dr Elmer came to help me on a Friday night. I am a new horse owner and she patiently and intelligently explained what the problem was and treated Sam. She understood that I cared for my horse and wanted the best for him. I look forward to many years of being her client. Posted By : stephanie reimann Posted : 12/6/2006 Comments : Doctor Jean has saved the lives of two of our horses. Our 26 year old had a thyroid tumor that she removed 2 years ago. Our 35 year old come in the barn one night barely able to stand because of dizziness (cause unknown!). We were going to put him down but she convinced us to try DMSO and steroids. He came out of it and is doing great! We hope to have them both a few more years. |
