Vicki, Certified Veterinary Technician:
Vicki is originally from the River Valley area and started working with Dr. Dally and Dr. Baenen at River Valley Veterinary Clinic in 2000, moving with them when they opened SGAH in September 2003. She realized she wanted to become a Veterinary Technician and returned to school to attend the Veterinary Technician program at Madison Area Technical College and graduated in May 2004. Vicki and her husband, Bruce, reside in Dodgeville with their daughter, Ava, and son, Kason. They also have a rambunctious Terrier Mix, 'Rowen' and a two handsome cats, 'Boris' and 'Yeti.'
Ruth, Certified Veterinary Technician:
Ruth started working in the veterinary field when she was just a junior in high school and decided to go to college to become a Veterinary Technician. She attended Madison Area Technical College and graduated from the program in May of 2003. Ruth started working with Dr. Dally and Dr. Baenen at River Valley Veterinary Clinic in May 2003, moving with them when they opened SGAH in September 2003. Ruth lives in the Spring Green area with her husband, Chris, and their daughter, Maelie. She shares her house with their playful Beagle Mix, 'Tessie' and adorable Beagle puppy, 'Lucie Baggins.'
Cat, Certified Veterinary Technician:
Cat attended Madison Area Technical College and graduated from the Vet Tech program in May 2017 and started working for SGAH in June 2018. She lives in the Richland Center area on her dream farmette. She co-habitats with a wonderful blend of dogs, cats, mules and chickens!
Meighan, Certified Veterinary Technician:
Meighan graduated UW- Madison with a Bachelor degree in Animal Science and continued on to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. She started at SGAH as a boarding staff member in September of 2003 before becoming an assistant and now a CVT. Meighan lives in the River Valley area with her son, Jerek. Her 4 legged furry children are Hairless Chinese Crested, 'Opey,' Dalmation Mix, 'Alfredo,' as well as her Terrier Mix, 'Joey.'
Tanya, Veterinary Technician:
Tanya was at one time a veterinarian in Russia, and after immigrating to the area 25 years ago, she managed the challenging task of helping to raise a family, with her husband Phil, while continuing to work as a talented veterinary technician. She particularly enjoys surgery and anesthesia and has years of experience working with birds and rabbits.
Codi, Veterinary Assistant:
Codi lives in the Spring Green area with her daughters, Brantlee and Rilynn and her furry kids, 'Wrangler' and adorable puppy 'Layne.'
Michelle, Groomer and Veterinary Technician:
Missy is originally from Spring Green. She attended the Veterinary Technician Program at Madison Area Technical College and now enjoys being a groomer and a fill-in Veterinary Technician. Missy and her husband, Dave, have three children: Morgan, Casey and Spencer. She also has a rambunctious lab mix, 'Princess Buttercup,' a handful of loving cats and a horse.
Ruben, Reception / Assistant / Maintenance:
Ruben lives in the River Valley Area with his wife, Candy, his dogs, 'Arlo,' 'Eli,' and 'Wyatt,' a couple cute cats, 'Lily' and 'Olive,' well as two horses. Ruben has worked at SGAH since 2017, starting in our boarding area.
Courtney, Assistant and Boarding Staff:
Courtney lives in the River Valley Area with her dogs and cats. She has been with SGAH since 2015.
Joann, Assistant and Boarding Staff:
Joann lives in River Valley Area with her family. She graduated River Valley High School in 2020 and plans on continuing her education to become a Veterinary Technician. She has been working here since 2019.
Jessica lives just outside the River Valley area with her husband and has been a long time client of SGAH. She shares her home with 2 dogs and a kitty. Jessica has been working with us since the spring of 2015.
Bob lives outside of Spring Green with his significant other, Kim. They are owned by their handsome dog, 'Jack,' and a cat 'Lovey.' Bob has been with us since spring of 2019.
